General Canby Day is an old fashioned 4th of July celebration and more. A family oriented community celebration that takes place in downtown Canby, Oregon.
Enjoy a pancake
breakfast at 7:00. At 10:00 the King and Queen are
introduced and officially start the festivities. Stroll
through the 70 plus food and crafts booths that surround
Wait Park, visit the car show, let the kids put together a
free craft and make a tie-dye t-shirt. Take the kids to the
Kids Korner for an old fashion school carnival. Have a hamburger or
hot dog lunch with an ice cream bar for desert at the
General Canby Day/Boy Scout booth. Walk thru the Classic Car Show and
head over to the huge book sale at the Library.
The Fireworks can be viewed from the Trost School soccer field at 10:00pm. It is being put on by the Chamber of Commerce, the Fire Department, the City of Canby and Western Fireworks.
There is no admission charge and parking is free but limited.
